Kerastase Elixir Ultime

Huge surprise... I'm actually updating from college!

Today I have a little review for you of Kerastase Elixir Ultime. You can definitely see how much I use this, but as with every oil a little definitely goes a long way, and I've had this one little bottle for absolutely ages!

So, I'm definitely a fan of hair oils, particularly with my ombré as my ends have dried out immensely! I had been using Moroccan Oil (a.k.a THE hair oil) for quite a long time, and found that it worked just perfectly for me. However my sister recommended this little baby, and I haven't looked back since. Now, one thing to mention is that I don't really notice much difference whatsoever between Moroccan Oil and this. Probably the most notable difference that I can see anyway is that Moroccan Oil has a richer feel to it, whereas the Kerastase feels much lighter.

I apply this to damp hair before blowdrying, and I find that it definitely smooths out and softens my poor ends. No greasiness, no downsides to report. It's a tad on the pricey side, but then again so are many brands of hair oils.

All in all, I find that this is definitely a good, stable product that does it's job, feels lovely and lasts a long time. There is a version of this product for coloured hair, which is pink and smells divine, and I have to say I do prefer that version, simply because of the scent! However both are very similar products, and do a lovely job at making me not feel so guilty about bleaching my brunette locks.

I'd be really interested to know if you have tried this product, Moroccan Oil, or any other hair oils and what you've thought?
