The Christmas Tag

I cannot BELIEVE it is so close to Christmas! Having a day off work today meant I had some time to do my Christmas shopping, so I'm definitely getting into the festive mood! What better then than to do The Christmas Tag? I've stolen this off of Couture Girl's blog so definitely go and give that a read.

1. What is your favourite thing about Christmas?

I am such a Christmas-obsessed person, so you can imagine I pretty much love everything to do with it. I love seeing all the lights go up in the cities, cheesy Christmas music, you name it. Cosying up with blankets, having an excuse to eat way too many snacks, wrapping presents, watching as many Christmas movies as possible, I love it!

2. What is your favourite makeup look for the festive season?

Anything and everything glittery. I'm such a neutral lover throughout the year but when Christmas comes round I cannot wait to get some use out of those darker smokey shades, and gorgeous gold an silver metallics I usually stay away from. Think Half-Baked and Verve from the Naked 2 palette.

3. Real or fake tree?

I absolutely love the smell of real trees but always have a fake one, so much less hassle.

4. Giving or receiving presents?

Probably the most typical answer but I definitely prefer giving presents! I just love the whole process of finding something perfect, spending time wrapping, it makes me feel so Christmassy.

5. Do you open your presents in the morning or evening?

Christmas morning, without a doubt. I don't know how some people open presents on Christmas Eve, I think it's just so nice to wake up on a cold Christmas morning and open up presents!

6. Handmade or bought Christmas cards?

Either really. I'm not a huge Christmas card person, although anything handmade is always lovely!

7. What is your favourite Christmas film?

Again, probably another typical answer but it has to be Elf. I don't know how many times I've watched it but I'm still not sick of it in the slightest!

8. What is your favourite Christmas food?

A proper Christmas dinner, hands down. No dessert or snack could ever beat it!
