This month hasn't really been too makeup-oriented - my skin has been needing a bit of a break (read: I'm really lazy in the mornings), so I've been concentrating more on skincare and general pampering products!
First up is It's Potent! eye cream by Benefit Cosmetics, a lovely light and creamy concoction that brightens up the under eye area. I've stopped using this at night time, as I find it doesn't exactly do much for my eye area except brighten slightly, so its perfect for those early mornings.
I've mentioned the Dead Sea Spa Magik Rich Moisturiser in a previous blog post (here!). To sum it up, it's perfect for my dry skin without being heavy or greasy in the slightest. It sinks in perfectly and my makeup has no problem going on smoothly over. Another product going under the skincare/pampering header is the Soap & Glory Calm One Calm All bubble bath. With lemon balm, mallow extracts, and skin conditioners, it leaves the skin gorgeously soft (and smells amazing).
MAC Face and Body has been my go-to foundation for good skin days. Its light formula seems more like a heavy tinted moisturiser than anything, but I find if I have a tan and my skin is behaving, this is absolutely perfect and leaves a glowing, fresh finish. I've been using this along with my Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in Drive Me Nude, which is perfect for an easy and quick application of colour when you need to run out the door in the mornings.
Finally, one of the most talked about products ever, the Elizabeth Arden Original 8-Hour Cream. This stuff is amazing, however definitely in moderation. As someone who has extremely dry skin and dry lips, this works wonders and feels incredibly soothing. Definitely a makeup bag staple.
So, that's all for my favourites this month! What have you been loving?
