Revlon ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Demure
Note: So as per usual before I started writing this post I did a little research and these pretty balms seem to be nowhere to be seen on the Boots website - were they limited edition or are they still available? I'll be popping into Boots soon so I'll definitely update on this - hopefully they're still around as they are gorgeous... Anyway, onto the review!
I'm not all that fussy about lip products - all I care about is that its nude and doesn't feel uncomfortable throughout the day. Enter Revlon's ColorBurst Lacquer Balm in Demure. It's pretty, peachy and glossy, and I love it. I tend to be someone who suffers from dry, chapped lips on a regular basis so I definitely give this brownie points for not settling into cracks/emphasizing dry areas.
A little disclaimer though - if you're not a shiny/glittery fan, this is not the product for you. Although I love the formula of this, its definitely not the most long lasting. You will have to top it up multiple times if you want the lovely glossy pink effect for the day. I find that it best works over some similar colour lipstick. I'd definitely like to try the matte versions of these for longer wear with a little less hassle, even though I do love the sheen from this!
Have you tried the Lacquer or Matte Balms? What did you think?
