Review | Catrice Photo Finish 18hr Foundation

I never thought I would say this - but this foundation has replaced my beloved Rimmel Match Perfection as my favourite high street base ever. The Catrice Photo Finish 18h Foundation's formula is like a dream. It blends beautifully, and despite the shade selection starting off with "Sand Beige" (which is never a good fit for my very pale skin), it actually applies significantly lighter and does match my tone perfectly.

The packaging is weighty and sturdy, and the pump is incredibly handy. The frosted glass finish gives it a really simple, professional look. I'm not too sure about the lasting power being 18 hours long, considering I don't think I'd ever leave foundation on for that amount of time anyway, but I can say that it lasts the whole day without going patchy in any way, which had actually been a huge problem for me before. It's quite a thick formula in comparison to something like Match Perfection, but it still gives a very light layer regardless without compromising on coverage. You can probably tell I'm seriously impressed with this foundation - this is definitely one that'll be going on the repurchase list! Unfortunately I can't remember the price - and it doesn't seem to be available online, but I'm nearly sure it was 6.99 euro, which is a huge bargain.

Catrice Cosmetics are a cruelty-free brand.
