Review | Botanics Radiance Balm

This week I've been talking about some staple products that I tend to pick up on a daily basis, and  - you guessed it - today's post is no different! This Boots Botanics Radiance Balm from their All Bright range has become one of the products I automatically reach for without fail every day - whether I'm planning on wearing more base products or not.

Again, this is a product that has been constantly raved about in the blogging world and its easy to see why. At just 7.99 euro (not to mention you can usually pick it up either half price or on a 3 for 2 offer in Boots), its a huge bargain considering the quality. I've had this 50ml tube for months now and I don't seem to have made much of a dent at all in it.

I've been trialing out the Botanics range for a while now since I've run out of my Clarins HydraQuench. I've been applying the range's Skin Calming Day Cream in the mornings and then applying the Radiance Balm over, and its honestly been the best combination I've tried for my skin so far (I've also been double cleansing in the evening with an oil & micellar water which has also been doing my skin a ton of favours!).

The balm itself is kind of a creamy beige in the tube but has no colour when applied to the skin. The formula is light, non-sticky and sinks in quickly. I would say to make sure to let your moisturiser dry fully though before applying this just to avoid any tacky feeling. It gives the skin a beautiful glow with or without makeup. I've also found that it gives a dewy finish to any foundation applied over, and my makeup seems to be looking a lot fresher for longer when I apply this, so it does act as a bit of a primer too. Its a great little buy if you're looking for something to give you a natural glow - you really can't go wrong!
