Lately I've been really happy with how my skin is, and I'm putting it down to a combination of double-cleansing, good moisturisers and hot lemon water in the mornings (yes, I'm going to repeat what everyone has been raving about and say it does actually work!). I thought I'd give a quick run-through of the products I've been using daily that have been working for me. So, here you go!
Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm
First up is this little beauty from the Boots Botanics range. It's a "balm" (which is very liquid and runny) that you apply post-moisturiser/pre-base makeup, designed to give a subtle but noticeable glow. I have been non-stop using this day-in, day-out and I've even dedicated a whole post to it over here, so I won't ramble on!
Botanics All Bright Hydrating Night Cream
Botanics Ultra Calm Skin Calming Day Cream (with SPF 15)
I'm never too fussy with moisturisers, but I have to say these two feel so nice and gentle on the skin and really do well at giving a burst of moisture. The scent isn't overbearing in any way, and the texture of both is smooth and creamy. The day cream is also the perfect lightweight base for makeup.
The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil
This leaked all over the magazine in the photo as you can see here, but regardless, I adore this product. It's the perfect cleansing oil - your makeup will just slide off with no effort. It's slightly pricey but much more affordable than similar products, especially considering the quality. Definitely one for the repurchase list!
No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum
This is a new addition to my routine, and I've been using it for just over two weeks now. Not enough to give the most comprehensive review, but I do feel like this is improving my skin. It has had rave reviews so far, so I'm interested in seeing how it performs over the long term!
Garnier Micellar Cleansing WaterClarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser
Like I said above, I've been double-cleansing every night which means I tend to use this Garnier Micellar Water after I've used The Body Shop's Cleansing Oil. This just makes sure that every trace of makeup is off, and I like to run a cotton pad of this over my eyes just to remove any residue of the oil. If I want a deeper cleanse I use the Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser which I have a review of here.
