Adding a Skincare Step With No7

No7 Protect and Perfect Advanced Serum

Despite loving my skincare, I never really had gotten into using serums (I know, I know - bad beauty blogger!). I had used one previously and I liked it, though I hadn't used it on an overly regular basis. It was the Botanics All Bright Serum, which did feel like it gave my skin a boost, I just never committed to using it after I ran out. I had gotten a gift of this No7 offering a while back, and I was delighted to be able to give it a go after seeing rave reviews about it's effects.

The Details

Although it's aimed at reducing the effects of aging and appearance of fine lines, the serum also claims to protect against future signs of aging and keep skin radiant. It comes in a 30ml tube and costs 30.50 euro (though can be found on 3 for 2, or discounted with those lovely vouchers always given!). The instructions state to apply the serum on the face and neck pre-moisturiser.

Is it Worth the Buy?

The serum itself is working really well on my (dry/combination) skin so far. It has a light texture that spreads on the skin very easily, so the 30mls goes a long way. I don't feel like I've even dented it and I've been using it quite a while! Mainly, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft right after I've applied it, and it still feels the same come the morning time. I can't comment on the anti-aging properties, but it definitely does give leave my skin more radiant compared to when I don't include the serum in my night time routine. I also tend to have problems from time to time with makeup not applying that great if my skin is quite dry in the mornings, and I find that doesn't tend to happen when I use this the night before. Big thumbs up! As it's more on the pricey side, I'd recommend trying it out first if possible or getting it on one of Boots offers to see if it suits you.

Have you tried this serum? How have you found it? Let me know!
